Business Development Manager – Construction & Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing group in Dubai, with a strong background in construction, contracting, and engineering consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue and company growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, clients, projects, and partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Generate and manage a strong project and client pipeline.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, upcoming projects, and industry opportunities.
• Collaborate with Estimation, Commercial, Technical, and Project teams to prepare competitive proposals and tenders.
• Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the UAE construction and engineering market.
• Track business development activities, targets, opportunities, and conversion rates.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within construction, contracting, engineering consultancy, retail, property development or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE construction and development market.
• Established network of clients, consultants, developers, contractors, or relevant industry contacts.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and convert opportunities into projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Commercially driven with strong understanding of project opportunities and market dynamics.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred; immediate joiners preferred.
