Business Development Manager - Corporate & Wealth Management

About the role

Al Rostamani International Exchange, part of the Al Rostamani Group, provides currency exchange and international remittance services in the UAE. As Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention among corporate houses while maintaining high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement business strategies to acquire customers from the market by targeting top corporate houses (trade remittances and WPS) and cross-selling remittances.
• Develop and run a business plan to grow the business within the UAE customer segment and drive revenue and volume.
• Lead, mentor and guide the sales team to increase high-volume transactions, wealth management, corporate business and WPS, meeting volume and revenue targets.
• Build strategic alliances and partnerships with business partners and associations.
• Maximise team productivity and efficiency, coach and motivate the team, and identify training needs and recommend upskilling.
• Promote formal and informal feedback and appraisals to optimise subordinate and departmental performance.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Business Administration or Marketing.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in corporate business, wealth management or relationship management, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven leadership qualities, strong negotiation skills and reliability.
• Ability to explain complex information simply and to manage a diverse group of Relationship Managers.
