Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

An experienced and highly driven Business Development Manager is sought to expand a Freight Forwarding and Logistics business across the UAE and GCC. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of acquiring new customers, managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth, with strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals and client meetings
• Develop and manage a pipeline of import and export customers
• Promote air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and supply chain solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and manage existing accounts
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close deals
• Work closely with Operations and Customer Service teams
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Travel across the UAE for client meetings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field
• 4-7 years of UAE freight forwarding and logistics business development experience
• Experience selling air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and supply chain solutions
• Strong UAE customer network
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel across the UAE
