Business Development Manager – Insurance

About the role

Union Insurance is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth across its retail and commercial insurance portfolio. The successful candidate will leverage personal networks, market intelligence and proactive outreach to generate new business and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients through networking events, cold calling, referrals and market research.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to present a unified service offering.
• Achieve monthly individual sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
• Maintain high‑quality client service to ensure contract renewal and customer loyalty.
• Monitor competitor activity, economic trends and industry developments to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of full‑time experience in the UAE insurance sector.
• Proven track record of generating at least AED 3 million in annual sales.
• Strong client‑focused mindset with excellent relationship‑building abilities.
