Business Development Manager

About the role

Staffora HR is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for a client’s 3PL, warehousing and cold‑store operations in Sharjah. The role focuses on generating new business, managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets within the contract logistics segment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new opportunities in 3PL, warehousing and cold‑storage services.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through market research, networking and client visits.
• Manage existing key accounts to ensure high retention and repeat business.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing structures and Service Level Agreements for corporate clients.
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure solutions are commercially and operationally viable.
• Conduct site visits and facility walkthroughs with clients.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and regional pricing.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and report performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of proven sales experience in 3PL, warehousing, logistics or cold‑chain industry.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and securing high‑value contracts.
• Strong network of corporate contacts within UAE logistics, FMCG, retail or distribution sectors (preferred).
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced negotiation and commercial presentation abilities.
• In‑depth understanding of warehousing operations, cold‑storage requirements and 3PL business models.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms for sales reporting and forecasting.
