Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive Automall’s growth by creating and monetising new business channels beyond traditional models. The role balances business development (70%) with project governance (30%) to turn strategic goals into operational results.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop new channels such as import/export, corporate programmes, referral networks and finance‑insurance linked acquisition.
• Prioritise opportunities, maintain a channel pipeline and develop business cases for viable projects.
• Build and manage relationships with partners including driving schools, insurance firms, logistics providers and corporate customers.
• Activate partner pipelines for pilot or operating models and develop export sales channels targeting international markets, especially Africa.
• Support commercialisation of non‑GCC vehicle opportunities through market assessment, pricing and go‑to‑market activities.
• Design referral‑led acquisition programmes with incentive structures and conversion tracking.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution of new channel initiatives, tracking timelines, risks and ownership.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of automotive business development, commercial sales, partnerships or channel development experience.
• Proven track record of identifying and converting new commercial opportunities in the UAE.
• Experience in used‑car, fleet, insurance, digital marketplace or export‑related activities.
• Ability to develop business cases, manage sales funnels and support launch of new initiatives.
