Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will define and execute EFA Group's growth strategy across the UAE, aligning with the Group’s overall objectives. This senior position involves building market presence, managing key stakeholder relationships, and driving revenue in the defence, security and aerospace sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional business development strategy, including market research, competitive analysis and expansion planning.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with government entities, armed forces, public agencies and local partners.
• Generate, qualify and manage a pipeline of international opportunities, lead negotiations and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, pricing, and proposal development.
• Represent EFA Group at regional exhibitions, defence events and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of international business development or strategic account management experience, preferably in defence, aerospace or high‑tech environments.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals in the UAE market.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and long sales cycles.
• Eligibility for security clearance (e.g., NATO) and willingness to travel extensively (65%+).
