Business Development Manager – MEA Region (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Safran.AI is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region from its Abu Dhabi office. You will lead the identification, qualification, and conversion of new commercial opportunities for AI‑driven solutions serving defense, aerospace, and government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the sales strategy in line with corporate objectives and expand the customer portfolio.
• Identify market opportunities, key stakeholders, and strategic partners throughout the MEA region.
• Understand client needs, anticipate expectations, and tailor proposals accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design winning bids, define scope, pricing, and commercial strategy.
• Present product features and benefits alongside Product/Solutions teams.
• Coordinate contract drafting, negotiate terms with high‑level public and industrial counterparts, and ensure compliance with bid and sales processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the defense, aerospace, or government sectors.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
• Track record of delivering successful bids and closing contracts.
