Business Operations Manager - Training

About the role

The Business Operations Manager - Training leads the planning and coordination of technical and non-technical training across the region, reporting full-time to the GM MEO Dubai Training Center. The role ensures training is delivered with strong operational discipline, high quality, effective resource use and alignment to Customer Care and Aftersales priorities. It also oversees training readiness for new model launches, supplier and agency performance, financial controls, facility coordination and dealer training KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional planning and operational delivery of technical and non-technical training programs, keeping priorities and schedules aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate new model training readiness and deployment so launch requirements are met on time.
• Quality-assure training materials, delivery standards and learning solutions, and identify improvements.
• Manage training resources, agencies and the contracted training workforce, including scheduling, utilization, performance follow-up and service-level compliance.
• Monitor dealer training KPIs, prepare monthly operational reports and use data to improve participation and effectiveness.
• Manage training forecasts, budgets, purchase orders, supplier invoices, dealer rebill tracking and spend governance, including variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate Training Center facilities, safety practices, LMS readiness, training assets and dealer training advisory council actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in training operations, service operations, dealer development or a related business operations role.
• Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating initiatives in a regional or cross-functional environment.
• Experience using data and KPIs to monitor performance and drive operational improvement.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; able to work onsite at the Training Center and coordinate with regional stakeholders, field teams, dealers, suppliers and agencies.

Required skills

Preferred: MBA or equivalent master's degree; experience managing external suppliers, agencies or contracted training workforces; experience with automotive technical training, new model launches and regional programs; working knowledge of LMS, purchasing or ERP systems and data visualization tools such as Power BI; familiarity with GM policies on safety, procurement, data protection and compliance.
