Business Planning & Operations Manager

About the role

Jameel Motors, an international distributor of commercial and passenger vehicles representing brands such as Toyota, Lexus, BYD, MG Motor, Ford Trucks and others, is hiring a Business Planning & Operations Manager in Dubai, reporting to the General Manager. The role links the business, OEM, sales, aftersales, logistics and registration teams so that market demand, vehicle supply, inventory and commercial objectives stay aligned. It covers market intelligence, vehicle volume planning, OEM coordination and end-to-end vehicle order delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the automotive market, competitors, customer demand and opportunities, and prepare regular market reports and business updates
• Support business plans, sales targets and commercial strategies, and develop performance metrics
• Prepare vehicle volume forecasts and coordinate monthly and annual vehicle ordering plans with the OEM
• Plan vehicle models, variants and specifications, and monitor allocation, order status, expected arrivals and stock availability
• Identify supply gaps, excess inventory and delivery risks and escalate them to the General Manager
• Act as the main coordination point between the OEM, logistics providers and internal teams, and follow up on production, shipments, vessel arrivals, customs clearance and delivery

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in automotive distribution, vehicle importation, business planning, sales operations or commercial operations
• Experience with OEMs, vehicle ordering, stock planning and automotive reporting
• Experience in automotive sales and aftersales performance analysis
• Experience coordinating vehicle orders and delivery is preferred
