CAD / MicroStation Technician - Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

A Roads & Infrastructure department is looking for an experienced CAD / MicroStation Technician to support its design team. The role prepares, develops and maintains accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation for roads, highways, infrastructure and associated civil works using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Strong experience in engineering consultancy and familiarity with UAE road and infrastructure projects, design standards and drawing requirements is expected.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, CAD or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in CAD drafting for Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with MicroStation (mandatory).
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience in roads, highways, infrastructure and civil engineering consultancy projects.
• Experience preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, sections and construction/IFC drawings.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing scales, coordinates, levels, dimensions, layers and CAD standards.
• UAE / GCC project experience highly preferred; Abu Dhabi infrastructure project experience and knowledge of local authority requirements is an advantage.
