Captain Waiter

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and guest‑focused Captain Waiter to lead a service section at Little Krazy, a whimsical fine‑dining restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a personalised and memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalised table service in line with restaurant standards.
• Take ownership of a designated dining section, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams.
• Welcome guests, present the menu, explain dishes, and recommend pairings.
• Upsell premium items, signature beverages, desserts, and chef’s specials.
• Accurately record orders in the POS system and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Lead, mentor, and support waiters and food runners within your section.
• Assist in training and coaching junior front‑of‑house staff.
• Maintain table settings and ensure proper reset between covers.
• Process guest bills accurately and efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in fine‑dining food and beverage service.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary requirements.
• Excellent communication and guest‑relation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems.
