Cargo Supervisor - FPSO Marine Operations

About the role

The Cargo Supervisor is responsible for planning and executing all marine operations for an FPSO unit, including vessel stability, loading and offloading, preparation for surveys and inspections, maintenance of marine equipment and hull and outfitting, and management of the marine crew. The goal is safe and environmentally sound operations.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the vessel within safe stress limits by knowing the loading computer, cargo and ballast systems, and by checking loading and ballast conditions routinely
• Prepare loading and discharging plans as required
• Maintain the vessel within limits of draft, stresses, trim and list

Required profile

• STCW I/II Chief Mate unlimited certificate
• Previous experience as Chief Mate or Cargo Supervisor or equivalent on an FPSO or oil tanker
• Experience with FRAMO pumps
• Valid certificates: basic oil and chemical tanker cargo operations training and advanced training for oil tanker cargo operations
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to rotate to Singapore during the construction phase
