Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

We are a leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai seeking a Chartered Accountant to join our team immediately. The role involves end‑to‑end management of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and related regulatory filings for a portfolio of corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments, and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Handle UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings, and tax computations in line with the new UAE CT law.
• Manage Economic Substance Reporting (ESR), Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) disclosures, and related compliance filings.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments, and respond to official queries.
• Review client books, invoices, and contracts for VAT and CT compliance.
• Prepare tax advisory notes, impact analyses, and compliance reports.
• Liaise with the FTA, clients, auditors, and internal teams to gather required documentation.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines, and send timely reminders to clients.
• Support senior managers in tax planning, structuring, and consulting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and FTA compliance.
• Immediate availability or notice period of no more than 15 days.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law, and IFRS.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal (VAT filing, CT registration, ESR, voluntary disclosures).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.
