Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to manage an assigned kitchen section and deliver high‑quality dishes that meet the brand’s standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes according to approved recipes, portion control and presentation standards.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety (HACCP) and kitchen cleanliness, and monitor mise‑en‑place for daily service.
• Guide, train and support Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs within the section.
• Assist with stock control, proper food storage, FIFO procedures and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections and report equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or quality restaurant.
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is preferred.
• Good communication, teamwork skills and ability to work fast‑paced shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for food quality, presentation and delivering excellent guest experiences.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
