Chef De Partie - Mediterranean Cuisine, Hot Kitchen

About the role

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER, a UAE-based retail group that also owns several F&B concepts, is hiring a Chef De Partie for its Mediterranean cuisine hot kitchen in Sharjah. The post is full time and on site, reporting to the Head Chef / Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Work to the standard set by the Head Chef / Operations Manager and liaise with them to implement new menus, dishes and systems where applicable
• Help achieve food cost, kitchen standards and overall objectives
• Maintain a high standard of food quality, preparation and production, and assist in service under the guidance of the Sous Chef or Head Chef
• Complete mise en place on time and keep your section clean and hygienic
• Monitor stock movement and handle ordering for your section
• Help Demi Chef De Partie and Commis Chefs improve, and share product knowledge with all relevant staff
• Attend mandatory meetings, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and suggest improvements

Required profile

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar field with a known F&B property or brand, plus 1-2 years in a similar role
• Relevant hospitality and F&B qualification
• Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment, results focus, good English communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in F&B or a passion for customer service, positive attitude and teamwork spirit
