Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Nonprofit Organization

About the role

The organization is a leading regional nonprofit focused on transparency, corporate governance and responsible business practices across the Gulf. As it enters a new phase of growth, the CEO/Executive Director will provide strategic leadership to expand its impact throughout Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the organization’s strategic direction and annual priorities.
• Drive regional growth and increase presence across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, donors, funders and key stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising and resource mobilisation to ensure long‑term financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors on governance, strategy and organisational development.
• Oversee operations, financial performance and effective allocation of resources.
• Recruit, lead and develop a high‑performing, mission‑driven team.
• Represent the organization at regional and international forums, conferences and media engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a CEO, Executive Director or senior executive leadership role.
• Strong track record in fundraising, resource mobilisation and strategic partnership development.
• Experience working closely with Boards of Directors and governance structures.
• Deep understanding of the GCC business and institutional landscape, particularly Saudi Arabia.
