Chief Financial Officer – Financial Domain Expert (Crypto & Investment)

About the role

We are seeking a senior CFO‑level financial expert with deep experience in crypto, investment management, ETFs, trading, staking, treasury, and digital‑asset markets to shape the financial architecture of our software products. The role will define, design and validate financial systems, ensuring accuracy, scalability and compliance for institution‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy and financial architecture for crypto‑related trading, investment and treasury solutions.
• Design business logic, workflows, controls, calculations and data models that reflect real‑world financial processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects, Engineers, Data and UX teams to translate complex financial concepts into robust software requirements.
• Validate valuation, NAV, P&L, risk, margin and collateral calculations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee accounting, ledger, reconciliation and fund‑operation processes within the product ecosystem.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in financial markets, investment management, asset management, trading, treasury, fintech or banking.
• Senior‑level experience such as CFO, CIO, Finance Director, Head of Investments, Head of Treasury, Head of Trading or equivalent.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of institutional financial workflows and financial systems.
• Significant experience with crypto or digital‑asset products.
• Proven ability to translate financial processes into clear software requirements.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of crypto & digital‑asset trading, derivatives, ETFs, ETPs and fund accounting.
• Expertise in staking, DeFi, yield products, treasury and liquidity management.
• Knowledge of risk, margin, collateral management and valuation methodologies.
• Familiarity with blockchain custody and wallet infrastructure.
