Chief Surveyor

About the role

Detech Contracting is looking for an experienced Chief Surveyor to lead surveying operations on infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves managing survey teams, ensuring precise measurements, and coordinating underground crossing surveys while complying with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead surveying activities for NDM/NDRC infrastructure projects.
• Perform setting out, alignment checks, level control, and verification for underground crossings.
• Review survey data, coordinates, profiles, and as‑built documentation for accuracy.
• Operate and supervise total stations, digital levels, and surveying software.
• Interpret engineering drawings and resolve surveying discrepancies.
• Coordinate surveying work with engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
• Supervise survey personnel and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate survey records to support timely project execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chief Surveyor with hands‑on NDM/NDRC surveying work.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective coordination with project stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with total stations and digital levels.
• Experience using surveying software.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and review coordinates, profiles, and alignment data.
• Hands‑on experience in NDM and NDRC surveying works.
