Child Minder

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Child Minder to join our recreation team at our property on Airport Road, Dubai. The role involves supporting guests, especially families, by facilitating child‑focused activities and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment throughout the resort’s leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information to guests about recreation facilities such as pools, beach, entertainment zone, fitness centre and child activity centre.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for various recreational programmes, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
• Enforce safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees and retail sales.
• Assist with private functions, set‑up group activities and support guests with disabilities.
• Deliver first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment and supplies; report accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site, standing or walking for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 kg unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer literacy for entering and retrieving information.
