Class Teacher – KG/Cycle 1 (Early Years & Key Stage 1)

About the role

The Al Danah branch of International Community Schools is seeking a motivated Class Teacher for KG and Cycle 1. You will deliver the British curriculum to children aged 3‑7 in a vibrant, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum for KG/Cycle 1.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress using appropriate data.
• Create a safe, stimulating classroom that supports well‑being and academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education.
• PGCE or equivalent leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Valid teaching licence from your home country.
• 2‑3 years full‑time teaching experience in KG or Cycle 1, preferably in a British‑curriculum international school.

• Effective use of assessment data to inform instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
