Client Director – MENA (Sports & Entertainment)

About the role

GSIQ is a fast‑growing research and insights agency serving leading sports, entertainment, sponsorship and tourism organisations. The Client Director – MENA will lead senior client relationships, drive consultative insight projects and help expand the business across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major brand and rights‑holder accounts, ensuring high‑quality delivery and trusted senior stakeholder relationships.
• Transform research data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations for senior decision‑makers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead pitches and expand GSIQ’s footprint in priority MENA markets, especially Saudi Arabia.
• Represent GSIQ at industry events, travel across the region and build a strong network within the sports ecosystem.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in sports, sponsorship, research, insights or consulting, preferably within an agency or brand environment.
• Deep sector knowledge with the ability to connect data to commercial outcomes.
• Strong client gravitas and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent storytelling and quality standards, turning complex findings into clear narratives.
• Commercial instinct to spot growth opportunities and drive new business.
• Proactive, autonomous self‑starter with a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent English; Arabic and an established MENA network are a plus.
