Clinical Nurse Lead - Mental Health

About the role

Amana Healthcare is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Lead / Senior Registered Nurse for mental health. The role provides advanced clinical nursing care and professional leadership in an inpatient or community mental health setting, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in line with Department of Health (DOH) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to mental health patients, covering assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
• Support and guide nursing staff and healthcare aides through supervision, mentoring and day-to-day clinical leadership.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic mental health services.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, scope of practice, organisational policies and clinical governance requirements.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, manage patients in crisis and ensure timely escalation and appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement, audits and service development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• DOH license holder or eligibility letter.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
• Minimum 3 years in a team lead role.
