Cloud Solution Architect (Banking Platforms)

About the role

A Cloud Solution Architect is sought to design and govern cloud-native banking platforms built on AWS or Azure. The role defines cloud architecture, Kubernetes platforms, Infrastructure as Code, observability, resilience and secure enterprise cloud adoption. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and requires 12+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise cloud platforms for banking applications and build secure, scalable, highly available environments
• Define Kubernetes platform standards and deployment models, and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Design observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace or Datadog, and define networking, IAM, secrets management and security architecture
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity, and drive cloud cost optimization
• Define architecture patterns and engineering standards, collaborate with Product, DevOps, Security and Infrastructure teams, and guide cloud transformation and modernization

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience
• Experience designing cloud platforms for banking applications

• Terraform and Docker
• Cloud networking, observability, microservices and Infrastructure as Code
• Preferred: Istio, event-driven architecture, serverless, CI/CD, PCI-DSS and banking compliance
