Commercial Director – Travel and Tourism

About the role

The Commercial Director will lead the sales and commercial function for a well‑established travel company with over 20 years of experience. This senior position is responsible for driving revenue growth across holiday packages, corporate accounts and B2B partnerships while meeting monthly and annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute practical sales and commercial strategies to increase holiday package sales, corporate accounts, travel bookings and overall profitability.
• Identify and secure new corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels and tourism partners; negotiate rates, supplier agreements, commissions and contracts.
• Manage, coach and motivate B2B and B2C sales teams, set clear targets, monitor pipelines, conversion rates and individual performance.
• Oversee sales forecasts, budgets, pricing, revenue performance and profit margins using CRM systems and sales dashboards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance and Customer Support to improve overall business performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant UAE experience, including at least 3 years in sales management, business development or commercial leadership, preferably in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Tourism or a related field.
• Proven success in B2B and B2C sales, business development and revenue generation with a track record of meeting sales targets and securing corporate accounts.
