Commercial Manager – Project

About the role

BK Gulf, a leading contractor in the UAE and Middle East, is looking for a Commercial Manager – Project to lead commercial, contractual and financial activities for large‑scale MEP projects in Dubai. The role carries strategic responsibility for project profitability and legal integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and administer the main contract (FIDIC or bespoke) to protect the company’s rights.
• Issue contractual notices on time, covering cost, schedule and variation matters.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic contractual advice to project leadership.
• Lead variation and change management, ensuring timely identification, pricing and commercial recovery.
• Negotiate and secure Variation Orders to maximise revenue.
• Oversee preparation and submission of monthly progress payment applications.

Required profile

• Proven track record in commercial, contractual and financial management of large MEP projects.
• Extensive experience with FIDIC contracts and variation management.
• Strong ability to protect contractual and legal interests while aligning with project objectives.
• Excellent negotiation skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
