Commercial Operations Intern

About the role

Tamara is looking for a Commercial Operations Intern to act as the on‑ground representative in partner stores across Dubai. You will spend most of your time visiting retail locations, ensuring Tamara’s branding is visible, training staff, and gathering frontline insights to improve the buy‑now‑pay‑later experience.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned merchant stores on a planned route, checking that signage, standees and counter cards are accurate and in good condition.
• Brief and retrain store managers, cashiers and sales associates on how Tamara works and how to explain it to customers.
• Maintain a directory of key store contacts and log every visit with tasks completed, issues found and insights gathered.
• Capture approved photos and short videos for Tamara’s marketing content.
• Submit weekly reports summarising store coverage, risks, recurring insights and priorities for the next week.

• Professional demeanor with the ability to represent Tamara respectfully during merchant operating hours.
• Strong attention to detail for checking in‑store materials and documenting insights.
• Reliability and ability to follow up on issues promptly, escalating urgent risks the same day.
• Good communication skills to train store staff and build relationships.
