Commercial Skills Training Manager

About the role

Lead the design and execution of commercial sales skills enablement across EMEA for the Orthopaedics business, building capability in customer‑centric selling, opportunity qualification, value messaging, negotiation, account planning and commercial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern a commercial sales skills strategy aligned to business priorities and go‑to‑market motions.
• Design, curate and deliver a blended sales skills curriculum covering discovery, qualification, value selling, objection handling, negotiation and presentation.
• Partner with sales leadership, marketing, commercial excellence, HR and other stakeholders to diagnose capability gaps and coordinate enablement calendars.
• Drive adoption of sales processes and tools through manager coaching guides, playbooks and reinforcement programs.
• Measure program effectiveness with KPIs such as participation, skill lift, pipeline progression and forecast accuracy, and lead continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, sales training or related roles.
• Strong orthopaedics knowledge and at least 3 years of experience leading teams.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and translate business strategy into effective learning solutions.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and leading cross‑functional teams.
