About the role
Our client, a prestigious restaurant in Dubai specializing in Continental cuisine, is looking for a Commis 1 to support senior chefs in preparing classic dishes while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support smooth kitchen operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 1‑2 years experience as a Commis 1 or similar role, preferably in Continental cuisine.
- Culinary Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
