About the role
The Commis 1 – Garage Production supports the kitchen team by preparing special meals, managing inventory, and ensuring food quality and safety. This full‑time, onsite position works within a dynamic hospitality environment on Yas Island.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, cold foods and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; pull food from freezer storage to thaw.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portioning, arrangement and garnish.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform chefs of excess items for specials.
- Notify service staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
- Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs and incidents.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of related food‑service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
