About the role
Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a Commis I in Dubai. The role supports the kitchen team in preparing and serving food, following the brand's food preparation and presentation guidelines and keeping the work area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and prepare mise en place for the outlets as required.
- Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality, and suggest improvements to them.
- Keep working areas clean and tidy and maintain food safety and protection, including proper dating, storage and rotation of food.
- Take care of hotel property and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training and help maintain departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards, fire safety rules and health and safety rules.
