About the role
The One&Only The Palm Resort is seeking a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join its Food & Beverage team. This entry‑level position supports the service team in delivering a smooth, welcoming dining experience for guests at the Zest Restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Prepare all mise‑en‑place correctly before service begins.
- Assist in serving food and beverages promptly while maintaining genuine hospitality.
- Maintain restaurant setup, cleanliness, and equipment arrangement to resort standards.
- Clear and reset tables, report any breakages or equipment issues to the Team Leader.
- Support senior team members by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Attend briefings, meetings, and required training sessions.
Required profile
- 6 months to 1 year experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
- Basic food and beverage knowledge.
- Positive, energetic presence and professional appearance.
- Ability to work well with colleagues and communicate effectively.
- Commitment to hygiene standards and sustainability practices.
