Company Secretary

About the role

The Company Secretary will support the Board of Directors and senior management of CHEM INNOVATION INDUSTRIES by ensuring robust corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and efficient board administration. This full‑time position is based in Abu Dhabi and reports directly to the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and prepare agendas, notices and minutes for Board, committee and Annual General Meetings.
• Maintain statutory registers, company records and the corporate seal.
• File required documents and returns with UAE regulatory bodies such as the Department of Economic Development.
• Advise the Board on governance matters, directors’ duties and legal/regulatory updates.
• Liaise with shareholders, auditors, legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
• Support due‑diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Ensure timely renewal of trade licences, permits and corporate filings.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Professional secretarial certification (e.g., Chartered Secretary, CS, ICSA) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a company secretarial, legal or compliance role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate law and governance best practices.
• Excellent organisational, record‑keeping and communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
