Compliance Manager – Regulatory & Governance

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead Modon’s regulatory compliance, governance and risk management framework, ensuring alignment with UAE, GCC and international requirements for infrastructure projects delivered as public‑private partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, interpret and implement applicable regulatory and compliance requirements across Modon.
• Maintain a regulatory universe and obligation register and ensure ongoing compliance with UAE and international authorities such as ADGM and the Securities and Commodities Authority.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions, inspections and audit engagements with the Modon Group compliance department.
• Design and implement a governance framework, policies and procedures, and oversee committees, escalation protocols and decision‑making structures.
• Implement AML/CFT, sanctions and due‑diligence processes, develop and maintain a risk register, and conduct periodic risk assessments for senior management and the board.
• Establish and manage frameworks for conflicts of interest, insider trading and ethical conduct, maintain related registers and support investigations and whistle‑blower cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, risk or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CFE or equivalent.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, governance and risk management within infrastructure or PPP environments is preferred.
