Concept Architect (Computational Design)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a talented Concept Architect to join its dynamic design team in Dubai. The role blends creative architectural vision with advanced computational methods, supporting projects from concept through construction administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, optioneering studies, and design strategies using generative and parametric approaches.
• Create algorithmic and procedural workflows, including AI‑enabled design exploration.
• Perform environmental and performance analysis with tools such as Ladybug and Galapagos.
• Produce architectural massing, spatial development, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Lead presentation production, visualization direction, and design storytelling.
• Mentor junior and graduate architects in computational design processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 + years of professional architectural design experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
