Concierge Supervisor

About the role

JW Marriott is hiring a full-time, non-management Concierge Supervisor in Al Jaddaf, Dubai. The role covers guest requests and special arrangements, guest communications, and supporting staff through hiring, training and scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services such as transportation, reservations and dry cleaning, and follow up on special requests from guests with unique needs
• Gather and share information about the property and local amenities, including special events and activities
• Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests and concerns, contacting the right departments to resolve them
• Review shift logs and daily memo books, prioritising outstanding requests from the previous day
• Monitor office inventory and order general office supplies
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counselling, discipline and coaching of employees, and act as the first point of contact for the Open Door Policy
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, complete safety training and certifications, and follow company policies and procedures
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• No license or certification required
