Construction General Foreman

About the role

Hennessey is seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead daily construction activities on building projects across the UAE. You will be the on‑site point of contact, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction operations.
• Allocate manpower, monitor productivity and maintain site discipline.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and programme timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment.
• Track site progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Arrange inspections with QA/QC teams and consultants.
• Enforce HSE requirements and promote safe working practices.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, housekeeping and site order.
• Identify site issues and support timely resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of construction experience, preferably on building projects.
• Proven track record as a General Foreman.
• Strong knowledge of structural, concrete, blockwork and general construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and work programmes.
• Good understanding of UAE construction practices, quality requirements and HSE standards.
• Effective communication with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
