Construction Lead - Offshore

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Construction Lead to oversee offshore construction activities for oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading site execution, managing contractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise offshore construction activities in line with project specifications, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, monitor progress, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review construction procedures, method statements, work packs and mechanical completion documentation.
• Support pre‑commissioning, commissioning and project hand‑over activities and provide regular progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 15‑18+ years of oil & gas construction experience, including at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems and familiarity with international standards.
• Experience on PMC and EPC offshore projects; ADNOC project experience is an advantage.
