Consultant Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist – UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its histopathology, cytopathology and laboratory medicine services. The Consultant Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality diagnostic care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Report surgical pathology, cytology and clinical pathology cases with accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Provide frozen‑section services, participate in tumour board discussions and ensure timely reporting.
• Oversee specimen handling, laboratory processes, critical value communication and diagnostic safety.
• Support quality‑assurance activities, laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology, surgery, radiology and internal medicine teams.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent qualification (e.g., American Board of Pathology, UK CCT/FRCPath, European specialist registration, Royal College Canada, Australian FRCPA, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing (DHA/DOH/MOH) and facility credentialing.
• Experience in a high‑volume pathology laboratory with multidisciplinary interaction.
