Consultant Breast Surgeon – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of breast diseases, including breast cancer, benign breast conditions, and oncoplastic breast surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign and malignant breast conditions.
• Perform breast‑conserving surgery, mastectomy and other breast surgical procedures.
• Carry out oncoplastic and reconstructive breast procedures where appropriately trained.
• Evaluate patients referred for breast lumps, abnormalities and suspected malignancies.
• Perform and/or coordinate image‑guided breast biopsies and other diagnostic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer and tumor board meetings.
• Develop individualized surgical and treatment plans in collaboration with oncology, radiology, pathology and other specialties.
• Provide pre‑operative counselling and post‑operative follow‑up while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Breast Surgery / Breast Oncology / Oncoplastic Breast Surgery preferred.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist/consultant qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of post‑specialisation experience, preferably with significant breast surgery experience.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai.
