Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team in Dubai. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients from birth to 18 years old within a culturally diverse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
• Deliver pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and social workers to ensure holistic care.
• Supervise junior psychiatrists and allied health professionals.
• Lead family education, support, and psycho‑education programmes.
• Participate in mental‑health awareness, early‑intervention, and school outreach initiatives.
• Maintain full compliance with clinical documentation and DHA regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialty training in Psychiatry.
• Board‑certified subspecialty qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of post‑specialty experience, including at least three years in a consultant role.
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
