About the role
A leading healthcare organization in Al Ain is looking for a Consultant General Surgeon who holds a Fellowship in Trauma Surgery. The position is full time and involves both clinical work and departmental leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Support hospital policies and quality improvement initiatives
- Take part in clinical governance and peer review processes
- Provide leadership within the surgical department
- Manage surgical trauma cases, including abdominal and emergency surgical conditions
- Perform complex trauma surgeries
- Take part in emergency and on-call coverage
- Work with emergency medicine and intensive care teams
- Supervise junior surgical staff
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Specialization in General Surgery
- Fellowship in Trauma Surgery
- TIER 1 qualification as per DOH PQR
- At least 5 years of experience after specialization
- Valid DOH license or eligibility
