About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its adult medical care services. The organization seeks a Consultant Internal Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultant‑level care for adult patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans and coordinate discharge.
• Manage complex comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac and renal diseases.
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and ensure continuity of care across settings.
• Supervise junior doctors, support evidence‑based protocols and participate in clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation, medication safety and compliance with UAE healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent specialist qualification in Internal Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Experience managing acute and chronic adult medical cases in a hospital setting.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Proven ability to supervise junior staff and work within multidisciplinary teams.
