Consultant Medical Oncologist – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in Sharjah, UAE. The role offers the chance to work in a modern, multidisciplinary oncology centre serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, stage and manage solid tumours and selected haematologic malignancies.
• Prescribe and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy regimens.
• Lead patient discussions on treatment goals, prognosis, toxicity, fertility and survivorship.
• Participate in tumour board meetings with surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology and palliative care teams.
• Monitor treatment response, manage complications and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Support clinical governance, medication safety and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification in Medical Oncology (e.g., ABIM, UK CCT/MRCP, European specialist, Royal College Canada, FRACP, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in multidisciplinary oncology settings and ability to communicate effectively with patients and teams.
