Consultant Medical Oncologist – UAE Multidisciplinary Oncology Practice

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its systemic cancer therapy and survivorship services. The position offers a senior clinician the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment with a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, stage and manage solid tumours and selected haematologic malignancies.
• Prescribe chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and supportive oncology treatments safely.
• Lead patient discussions on treatment goals, prognosis, toxicity, fertility and survivorship.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards with surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology and palliative care.
• Monitor treatment response, manage complications and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Support oncology protocols, clinical governance, medication safety and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification (e.g., ABIM‑Medical Oncology, UK CCT/MRCP, European Society certification, Royal College, Canadian, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical judgement, patient‑centred communication and teamwork.
