Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon – Sharjah (Full‑time)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in Sharjah is expanding its orthopedic outpatient, trauma and elective surgical services. The organisation seeks a highly skilled Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative diseases, fractures and other orthopedic conditions.
• Perform orthopedic procedures within the subspecialty scope, including arthroscopy, arthroplasty, trauma fixation and hand/foot surgeries.
• Evaluate surgical candidates, obtain informed consent and oversee peri‑operative care.
• Collaborate with radiology, anaesthesia, physiotherapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation teams.
• Provide outpatient follow‑up, functional recovery plans and complication management.
• Participate in surgical audit, theatre safety, infection prevention and clinical governance activities.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised orthopaedic surgery qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACS, Arab Board, MS/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing (DHA/DOH/MOH) and facility credentialing.
• Experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong clinical track record.
