About the role
A leading healthcare organization in Al Ain is looking for a Consultant Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist. The position is full time and involves managing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric cases, with managerial and clinical responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric cases
- Perform fetal diagnostic procedures including ultrasound and fetal monitoring
- Provide prenatal counseling and advanced obstetric care
- Work collaboratively with neonatology and obstetric teams
- Support hospital quality initiatives and clinical governance programs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
- Ensure appropriate patient care and safety standards
- Supervise junior physicians
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
- Tier 1 qualification as per DOH PQR
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience
- Valid DOH license or eligibility
