About the role
A leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. The position is full time and involves both clinical work and managerial support within the department.
Key responsibilities
- Support departmental initiatives and hospital clinical governance policies
- Take part in performance management and quality improvement initiatives
- Work with cardiac surgery and intensive care teams
- Provide anesthesia care for paediatric cardiac surgeries, including complex congenital heart procedures
- Manage anesthesia during cardiac catheterization and transplant procedures
- Monitor and manage critically ill paediatric cardiac patients perioperatively
- Take part in multidisciplinary cardiac surgical team meetings
- Supervise junior physicians and anesthesia staff
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Specialization in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Anesthesia preferred
- Tier 1 qualification as per Abu Dhabi PQR
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in cardiac anesthesia
- Valid DOH license or eligibility
