About the role
A leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Consultant Paediatric Neuro-Oncologist. The role combines clinical care of children with brain tumors and neurological cancers with leadership within the paediatric oncology team.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage brain tumors and neurological cancers in children
- Provide advanced oncological care, including chemotherapy protocols
- Collaborate with neurosurgery, radiology and radiation oncology teams
- Lead patient care planning and treatment strategies
- Support and adhere to departmental initiatives, policies and procedures
- Participate in performance management and peer review systems
- Provide leadership within the paediatric oncology team
- Take part in multidisciplinary tumour board meetings
Required profile
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Specialization in Paediatric Oncology or Paediatric Neurology
- Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology preferred
- TIER 1 qualification as per DOH PQR
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience
- DOH license or eligibility preferred
