Consultant / Specialist Psychiatrist

About the role

Synergy Brain Health Center is establishing a multidisciplinary Center of Excellence in Brain Health and Lifestyle Medicine. We are looking for a Consultant or Specialist Psychiatrist to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred psychiatric care in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and evidence‑based management of adult psychiatric disorders.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient‑centred care while collaborating with clinical psychology, neuropsychology, neurology, family medicine and allied health professionals.
• Develop integrated, longitudinal treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology and, where appropriate, neuromodulation techniques such as rTMS/TMS.

Required profile

• Post‑specialisation clinical experience in Psychiatry at Specialist or Consultant level meeting DOH Abu Dhabi requirements.
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi Specialist or Consultant Psychiatry licence (or eligibility).
• MD/MBBS with recognised postgraduate specialist qualifications in Psychiatry.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic preferred) and strong competence in comprehensive psychiatric assessment, formulation, differential diagnosis, risk assessment and longitudinal treatment planning.
